Why Drive Less?
The most important part of what we do is connect people with ways to drive less. A single-occupant vehicle is commonly accepted as the best mode of transportation. Let’s face it. We believe that a car gives us freedom, but what if we look at it differently.
Driving is expensive. Fuel and maintenance are major expenses for most individuals on an asset that depreciates with every passing day. Save the wear and tear on your vehicle and on gas prices at the pump by finding other modes of transportation.
Driving is stressful. Traffic, parking and the possibility of an accident are serious stressors. You don’t need that in your life.
Driving, especially alone, is isolating. Carpooling or taking public transit can create connections.
Driving is polluting. Cars are a significant contributor to poor air quality and driving less makes our skies bluer and our lungs healthier.
Driving less actually gives us more freedom. Breathe easier and commute smarter.
